Midwest '09 Trip 1 - Move on to Midwest '09 Trip 2

Of course we were off to Minnesota to see the newly born Walker Twins! And they are sooo cute! Like most of our vacations, we took this opportunity to see more of our country. We stopped in the Mormon town of Nauvoo, IL on the way. While in Minneapolis, we visited the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. During our return drive, we stopped at Clear Lake, Iowa which is the site of the last performance of Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and The Big Bopper before their tragic plane crash. Then we stopped just south of Topeka, KS to see a very good business acquaintance, TJ Cunningham and his wife Candy. Shortly thereafter, we traveled to Bella Vista, AR and spent two nights with my old Minnesota buddy, Terry Wilson and his wife Jody. They retired to a beautiful spot in the Arkansas Ozarks. Our last stop was Branson, MO for two nights.
