1. We stayed at Amelia Island before going to Cumberland.    2. Fort Clinch, Amelia Island.

  
1 & 2. Fort Clinch was built in 1864 during the Civil War.

  
1 & 2. The canons at Fort Clinch protected Amelia island and the sound.
