Utah Trip 2
We hadn't been out west since our South Dakota trip in
2017, so we decided to head that way again, this time to explore Utah. We visited southwest
Utah in 2007 and always wanted to go back to see those areas we missed.
We flew into Salt Lake City and began our trip by visiting Antelope
Island State Park on the Great Salt Lake. During this trip, we went to
Flaming Gorge, Dinosaur National Monument, Canyonlands NP, Arches NP and
Monument Valley. We particularly enjoyed our stay at the Red Cliffs
Lodge, on the Colorado River, 17 miles from Moab. It was a really fun
trip that allowed us to relax and get our minds off the Covid pandemic. |
